Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data that can be gathered from the access, by users, of the webpage www.olavolex.pt (or site). Carlos Olavo & Associados, SP, RL (COA) is the responsible entity for the processing of that data. The availability of the personal data is based on the premise of the acknowledgement and consent of the conditions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. The information regarding the Privacy Policy consists of the following points.
A) Collection and Processing of the Personal Data
The mere access to the site by the users does not imply the release of any personal data. Some functionalities may demand the provision of data, which, in those cases, can be processed by COA. On request for contact, the personal data shall be processed, with consent from the user, for contact management, clarifications and other requested information.
B) User’s Rights
The user may request access to his/her personal data, ask for it’s correction or deletion, oppose to its processing and obtain confirmation that they are subject to processing, being made available, if necessary, a copy of the same. The user may, at any point, revoke the given consent. Any user may submit a written request to the COA contacts, addressing his/her claim through e-mail to privacidade@olavolex.pt or by post to Avenida Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, Torre 2, 11º, 6, 1070-102 Lisbon. COA reserves the right to update and modify its terms on personal data processing, as long as they are announced on the site.
C) Use of Personal Data
Personal data collected by COA are treated in accordance to the applicable law and kept for the legal period, for the purpose they were collected for. The user may exercise his/her right of objection and erasure, as well as withdraw his/her consent that was previously given.
D) Report of Personal Data
COA may convey personal data when consulting with other entities for the provision of certain services, as much as it may imply the access to the personal data. Whoever COA subcontracts, shall process the personal data in observance with our instruction and on the terms of the subcontract. The third party entities, when necessary, in accordance to the applicable law, in the compliance of legal obligations and judicial orders, resolutions or decisions of control authorities or in response the requests of public authorities, may transmit the personal data.
E) Security
COA obliges to protect the user’s personal data against non-authorized accesses, through the use of security systems and commits to prevent non-authorized data accesses, improper use of the data, it’s dissemination, loss or destruction. It is the user’s responsibility to assure that the devices used to access COA’s site are protected against potentially harmful software.
F) Cookies and Links
COA’s site uses cookies to assess interest and the number of hits. The cookies allow for a more efficient browsing of the site. It’s refusal by the user may affect the browsing experience on the site. The site’s links may lead to other sites, but COA is not responsible for its contents. COA is also not responsible for any damage resulting from viruses that may infect the user’s computer through downloading content or similar process.
G) Data Transfer
COA may transmit personal data to third party countries, for the purpose’s foreseen in the present Policy, that are not part of the European Union, as long as there are no adequacy decisions by the European Committee. COA commits to adopt the adequate safety measures to ensure the confidentiality and protection of the personal data. H) Complaints
The user may complain to the appropriate authority if he/she perceives that the processing of his/her personal data by COA was in violation with the applicable law. The user can contact COA to clarify any doubts he/she may have regarding his/her processing of personal data and the exercise of the rights that are granted by Law and the present Policy.
